Bought a Power Kraft wood lathe model TPF 2020a. I know a little about lathe's but there is a pert missing on the head stock that has the taper and holds the chucks and bits. I don't know what this part is called and where I can find one?

Sounds like the part could be the spindle. The manual should have a parts list and picture to help identify the parts. If there is no manual I would suggest looking around and/or asking on the Old Woodworking Machines website (link below) If I recall correctly the Power-Kraft name was a Montgomery Wards brand back in the early to mid 1900′s. Since the demise of MW the ToolKraft company handles parts, etc… Their website is also linked below.
There is tons of information online regarding lathes. Just type “lathe parts” or “woodworking lathe” and choose from thousands of sites with information, pictures, videos (youtube is great for this) etc…
